WHAT I AM…
Used to be an angel once with wings of a raven
Angels were not allowed to have their own vision
I wanted one so bad and I was banned from heaven
In your world, I must learn to survive as a fallen
With a mind of a sinner and soul of a maiden
What I am is neither an angel nor a human
Acting as one of them, keeping my true self hidden
I speak to no one, but the reader who have chosen
As from them only, I have learned to care and listen

Another day of fighting with your inner self? Beautiful words. Is the drawing yours also? Something about the upside down capital A caught my eye. That usually represents the alpha character but upside down?????

the drawing is not mine, I chose it for A of Alex and the wings 🙂 it really suits me and with the inner fighting. I found it on pixabay.com (a site provides original images/photos free for use without giving reference)
