Intouchables (2011) movie critique by Alex – A must watch!
Intouchables (2011) is one of the best movies that I’ve ever seen. Casting is perfect, lines are perfect. I have never laughed this much while watching a movie! The acting is so real and Omar Sy did a perfect job.
Here you can get more information.about the movie.
Therefore after watching the long and very boring Godfather I and II, it was like a brain rejuvenation to see a delightful and very real life comedy.
And, it made me miss Paris soooo much!
MY HUMBLE INTERPRETATION: The entrapment on a wheelchair of the rich man is very much alike to the poor caregiver who was entrapped by his social status. Physically and socio-economically entrapped, these two men in fact help each other to see and experience each others’ lives. The most beautiful part is although they admire each other, there is not a single bit of jealosy. The caregiver is very honest and the landowner has fun while watching him dance which he knows he won’t be able to for the rest of his life. To sum up, these guys have so much emphaty without any pity or jealousy towards each other.
Well, isn’t that called true friendship? 🙂
